You’re getting your day captured by someone who genuinely cares about your day and realizes how much it means to you. We work on the premise of clear, constant communication with you. On top of prompt text and email responses from the time of first contact with us, you will receive a call before the event asking for clarification on the details and timeline of the day so that we can be on top of your day for you and capture everything you need.

Next: the contract. We don’t ask you to just trust our word and send a deposit. Ad Astra Media sends a contract out to each and every client. This outlines exactly whats covered, what is expected, etc. and makes sure we are all on the same page. It also provides protection for all parties involved.

Multiple safeties, redundancies, and backups: Too often I hear that people’s photos were lost due to their photographers’ memory cards failing, cameras overheating, etc. Ad Astra Media takes backups and safety measures extremely seriously. Let’s lay that out for you. Events are never shot with only one camera. Two cameras, on-body, at all times. This allows us to capture the shots we want, but it also provides safety should one camera fail when it’s needed. Additionally, each camera has two SD card slots, not just one like most cameras. This means that even if an SD card fails, there is a backup of the same photos on the other card. And finally, the media is stored on a reliable series of solid-state drives after returning from your event. Your memories are locked down.
